Pepsi IPL 6 Opening Ceremony 2013 Video

Shah Rukh Khan, who is the co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, has bagged the honour of organizing the opening ceremony of Indian Premiere League (IPL-6). SRK’s company will host the celebration at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium on April. However, sources have informed a leading daily that JLo might not be able to make it to the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata due to date issues.

An official said, “It is true that we still don`t have the confirmation of Jennifer Lopez till now. She was very excited initially but now she has cited date issues. However, SRK has not given up and we are trying to convince her. We are expecting a confirmation within three days.

“We are trying to convince JLO`s manager to help work it out because we have seven more days to get things going. Shah Rukh is still optimistic,” added the official.

The real issue, however, seems to be something else altogether. As per reports, the US channel that exclusively covers Jennifer Lopez’s performances have asked the actress to shell out a huge amount of money in order to hand over the rights of her IPL opening ceremony act to the Indian channel covering the same.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone will be seen shaking their legs on the IPL Opening stage.

The opening ceremony of this year’s Indian Premier League (IP) will be held in Kolkata as Kolkata Knight Riders are the reigning champions. But, the spiritual home of Indian football has to pay a price for it. India’s football premier tournament ‘I League’ has been asked to vacate the Salt Lake Stadium for close to 15 days so that the cash-rich IPL’s opening ceremony could be organised. Football lovers have raised a question whether it is fair to muscle out I League matches out of the Salt Lake Stadium to accommodate IPL 6 opening ceremony.
